Unity House provides the opportunity for members to connect and socialize with others in a safe environment through activities, outings and drop-in meals. Details Volunteer Opportunities: Front Desk: answering phone, greeting people, renewing memberships, recording changes to individual's accounts, receiving payments. Janitorial: sweeping or mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and other clubhouse maintenance. Activity Assistant: assist members to identify recreational opportunities in the community, assist with funding applications. Cooks: prepare lunches and/or dinners and take-out meals with other volunteer cooks. Foodsafe Certificate required. Fundraising: liase with the C.M.H.A. administration. Research the organization's needs. Access community, provincial and federal resources, including grants.
