Penticton & District Community Resources Society (PDCRS) is a registered not-for-profit agency that has been building strong communities with opportunities for all for almost 50 years. We have a rich history of understanding community needs, bringing together individuals, families and community groups to facilitate solutions, provide necessary resources and deliver programs that support our neighbors to live their lives with dignity and ease. We offer a continuum of care in 15 cities and townships throughout the South Okanagan/Similkameen.

From care for newborn babies to transportation for seniors, PDCRS programs are accessible to all residents in the region. We are proud to serve over 600 individuals and their families per day in the areas of: 

• Childcare & Support Services – a continuum of childcare options for children birth to 12 years, including children and youth with special needs
• Community Living Services – programs for adults with a developmental disability
• Youth & Family Services – counseling and support for children, youth and their families
• Community Development Initiatives – services, such as handyDART, that respond to the needs of our communities

 We recognize that from time to time, families need a small hand up or additional care. Through the support of our PDCRS Family Assistance Program, your contribution will help families meet their basic daily needs, access nutrition, and provide care for their children.
